Welcome to PassMassAmendment

We are a network of people intent on using Massachusetts law to make sure government serves the people!

PETITIONING HAS BEGUN! Get the petition here!
We are gathering signatures for the next 8 weeks, for a petition to reduce the amount of campaign spending to $100 for individuals, and $15,000 for PACs. Click here to see the language.

Our legislative bills will be refilled in the next session. Please ask your Legislator to sponsor/co-sponsor. Please join us in our work at the statehouse! And organizing to petition! PassMassAmendment@gmail.com 978 808 7173

What we're doing:

Statehouse bills and statewide ballot initiative petitions (and associated court actions) to get Big Money out of our elections:

- Amend the Mass. Constitution, based on "Corporations Are Not People, Money Is Not Speech"
- Disclose dark money
- Reduce out of state money

We just filed our 2017 petitions with the state based on our Statehouse Bills. We will receive the printed official petition forms first week of September. Stay tuned!

Every signature we get, it helps pressure lawmakers to advance these bills!

Why amend the Massachusetts Constitution?

We feel like we have no other option. We've asked our legislators to do something to get Big Money OUT of our elections, and they have not acted.

WE NEED YOU! If we're going to be THE PEOPLE,we gotta stand up and BE the people!

"Article VII. Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity and happiness of the people; and not for the profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men: Therefore the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government; and to reform, alter, or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity and happiness require it."
